David Miliband meets Paddington Academy students
On 26th April, Foreign Secretary David Miliband visited the Academy to speak to the Year 12 Economics class. The students are studying the economic policies of the three main political parties as the General Election approaches and they were given the opportunity to question a leading member of the government about a range of policies. They had been expertly prepared for this by their Economics teacher, Mr Inniss. David Miliband spoke very eloquently to the students and was impressed by the state of the art facilities at the Academy.
Quote of the day was from Mohammed Said Noor, when David Miliband asked him: “What’s the best thing about this school?”, his instant reply was “The teachers”.
