Results Day
Congratulations to our GCSE and Sixth Form students who have achieved the highest results the Academy has seen so far.
At GCSE, 69% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths, improving even further the magnificent 62% achieved last year. 5 years ago, before the Academy opened, these results were at 18% so we are very pleased with the progress that our students have made. In addition, 98% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades and 24% of grades at GCSE were A* or A.
In Year 13, the pass rate rose to 99% and 67% of entries were graded at A*-B. This meant that the majority of students were able to accept their first choices of university. Mohammed Said Noor became the first Academy student to gain a place at Cambridge where he will be reading medicine after gaining A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and an A grade in German. We wish all of our students every success as they begin university.
