Subject: PSHE
Why is PSHE important?
At Paddington Academy, we believe in the development of the whole child. Alongside academic growth we also aim to develop students’ social and emotional understanding.
Our PSHE curriculum is designed to give students the knowledge and skills required to keep themselves healthy and safe, thrive as informed and contributing members of society, and live happy and fulfilled lives.
Our curriculum reflects six important areas; relationships, mental and physical health, citizenship, future careers, financial education, and the Paddington Academy values. Through the study of these themes, we provide students with the knowledge to stay safe, healthy and feel prepared for challenges and opportunities in society as British citizens.
