Subject: Creative Media Production
What will students learn?
Students will complete the BTEC Tech Award in Creative Media Production which will allow them to acquire skills and knowledge through vocational contexts. They will investigate, explore and create their own media products through written and practical assignments as well as an exam.
Students at Paddington Academy studying BTEC Creative Media Production will first develop an understanding of the media industry itself before exploring how media producers create meaning. They will then look specifically at moving images and develop technical skills which will allow them to create their own music videos. Finally, they will develop vocational skills through responding to a brief.
