University-ready

All our Year 12 students will attend the Queen Mary University open day in half-term 6 and attend subject-specific workshops to give them an understanding of what life at university will consist of. In addition to this, we also run smaller group trips to other universities during the school year, which for the 2025-26 academic year, included the University of Sussex, University of Birmingham, University of Oxford and University of Cambridge.

To support our students who wish to apply for a course with an early entry deadline (Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine or any Oxbridge course), we run an early entry program which starts in the summer term of Year 12. The program includes workshops on applications and personal statements as well as specialist support with admissions tests preparation and interview practice.
