The Paddington Academy Summer Teaching Internship Programme is designed to bring motivated and dedicated individuals into the classroom. 


The dates of the Summer Internship are Monday 24th June - Friday 12th July

Our 3-week paid opportunity offers you the chance to gain an insight into the teaching profession.

During your placement, you will earn £300 weekly, and develop a range of skills to prepare you for a successful career ahead including:

  • Networking and liaising with key individuals across education 
  • Enhancing your subject expertise 
  • Working with a range of students across diverse backgrounds and ages
  • Supporting schools in ensuring consistent, quality provision for young people 

Our Internship Programme promises to provide you with an invaluable opportunity to be part of an OUTSTANDING institution (OFSTED, 2023).

   Maths    Geography
   Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)    Design Technology
   Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish and French - MFL)    Biology

We will be announcing more information regarding teaching internships for Biology, Design Technology and Geography later in the year. The application process for these subject areas will open in April.
